Roxanne the T-Rex is now a proud mother of triplets. Fresh on maternity leave, the new mom has her hands full with a rambunctious, t-rex trio. But she isn't alone, Dad is happy to help as best he can. Although he isn't great at changing diapers with his stubby little arms, he still gets an A for effort. Roxanne's friends check in as well, snapping baby pics and offering hand-me-down clothes from their children who've already grown up. It's a challenging time for the new Mom, but she savors every moment, knowing the little dinos will soon be on their own. 🦖

A recent study has found that tyrannosaurus hatchlings were born with feathers. Although the adult t-rex is still believed to have sported the iconic scaly flesh, we now know their babies broke free from their eggs with a soft, downy feather coat. This likely served as insulation, helping to keep the little t-rex warm and insulated, as well as camouflage. It's hard to imagine such an apex predator as prey, but until they reached adolescence, the t-rex needed all the protection they could get. 

Our cuddly t-rex hand puppet measures at 9.3 inches, and is made with a soft, plush polyester exterior. Just like all of our plushie critters, she is stuffed with a fluffy blend of polypropylene cotton down for feather pillow softness. Be sure to only clean your little dinosaur gently in warm water, as too cold or too hot may cause shrinkage or fading.
