Real giraffes can stand around 17 feet tall, so don't let the diminutive size of this plushie fool you. They actually do a lot of standing around. Sitting or laying down for giraffes is extremely rare, and is usually a sign that something is wrong. They prefer to do everything standing up, including sleeping and giving birth! That means that a baby giraffe's first experience after birth is a sheer drop to the ground. 

This stuffed toy is nowhere near as tall as the animal it's based on, standing at only 10.2 inches. His soft fur is made of an extra-silky polyester, and the stuffing inside is a specially treated polypropylene cotton blend that feels extra soft and squishy. Just be sure to keep him away from water that's too hot or too cold, as these can make him shrink or cause his beautiful coat to fade.
