Our new Axolotl Body Pillow is ready to lay down with you, for a nap as long as its huge, plush body! The largest size of this plush is large enough to cuddle and squeeze with all four limbs at once, making it the perfect bedtime companion. It also comes in smaller sizes, in case you don't want a giant axolotl invading your bed, or you plan to give the plushie to a kid who may not be quite as long as the large size yet. 

Axolotls have an average lifespan of 15 years in captivity, but unlike many other types of salamanders and lizards, they stop growing fairly early on. Most axolotls fall somewhere between 8 and 12 inches long when fully grown, and they reach this size within 24 months, in most cases. They tend to grow rapidly at first, then slow down as they near the end of their growth. 

This plushie is vastly larger than any real axolotl; the small size is 27.5 inches long, the medium is 39.4 inches, and the large is a staggering 47.2 inches long. The body pillow comes in pink, blue, and purple. No matter which version you choose, it will have plush polyester on the outside, and a specially treated polypropylene cotton on the inside. If this pillow ever needs to be washed, be careful to only use warm water; if it's too hot or too cold, the water may cause shrinkage or fading.
