Description

Sunny is a chubby orange bear who specializes in designing, creating, and most enthusiastically: enjoying citrus inspired treats. You can usually find him whizzing around his shop, The Sugared Peel Bakery. When he’s not selling his famous tangerine cream puffs, lemon-lime honey chews, or candied kumquats, he’s often in the back indulging in them himself. His coworkers good-naturedly remind him to leave enough treats for the paying customers, but Sunny has always had a hard time resisting anything citrusy. One day, the bakery received a large catering order. Sunny knew better, but while whipping up a heavenly orange custard, he couldn’t resist sneaking a few spoonfuls. With his tummy full and satisfied, he went to take the cakes out of the oven. When he returned to the big bowl of custard, his heart dropped—there wouldn’t be enough filling for the cake, and the client was due to arrive any minute. He felt foolish for giving in to temptation. Just then, his coworkers walked through the door carrying a big bowl of orange custard. “Hope you learned your lesson, Sunny!” they laughed. “Good thing we know you so well.” Sunny laughed too, gave his friends a hug, and got right back to work finishing the cake.

Tangerine is an eye-catching, vivid shade of orange with a warm, reddish undertone. It bears the name of the orange citrus fruit, which in turn is named after Tanger, Morocco. In fact, the word tangerine began with the fruit that was being imported from Morocco, and then later became known as a shade of orange.
