Axolotls aren't born with their limbs or gills; those features come in gradually, usually over the course of a few weeks. Meanwhile, the baby axolotl grows rapidly. It comes out less than an inch long, and often doubles in size in the space of a few weeks. Full development of their limbs, gills, and other features may take months, and most axolotls aren't fully grown until they're nearly two years old. 

This diminutive baby comes in three sizes. You can get a 9 inch long axolotl, just about the same size as a real one, which includes a keychain. The regular length version comes in at 17.7 inches, while the large one measures 31.5 inches. It also comes in five color variants; black, black and red, pink, blue, and gold. They all have soft polyester on the outside, and polypropylene cotton down on the inside. Be careful washing these little guys; water that's too hot or too cold can cause shrinkage or color fading.
