Peggy plays with her paintbrushes before starting a new painting🎨. Her performance at her previous exposition was quite possibly her most powerful up to now, and the pressure to reap more praise is pushing her to prove her passion and provide perfection. Her pencil ✏️ glides pleasantly on the new piece, the pink pastels pamper the page. A pop of purple adds pizzazz to the picture. Proud, Peggy prepares a picnic. There are pecans and peanuts, plums, pears and papaya, pasta covered in parmesan and paprika, and peach and pumpernickel pancakes 🥞 for dessert.

The invention of the printing press changed the intellectual climate of the world. Before this Printing Revolution, every piece of writing had to be made by hand. Scribes, often monks, had to manually reproduce texts, which was not only time-consuming but also quite expensive, making access to printed documents incredibly limited. It was in 1440 that the German goldsmith Johannes Gutenberg invented the printing press. It is estimated that the number of books coming out of Europe increased from a few million to one billion copies within less than 400 years following this groundbreaking invention.
