While Brownie the Bear Cub 🐻 isn't a regular fixture around the Furry Friends Farm, she's certainly well known. With her distinct, extra fluffy coat, there's no mistaking her when she strolls in from the forest. And what brings this cuddly cub to the farm? Honey, of course. Summer is here, and it's time for Brownie to stock up on her favorite sweet treat. She takes as much as she can carry, and uses it through the winter for tea and her famous homemade honey buns, which she graciously hands out to all her furry friends as a thank you for sharing their liquid gold.

Bear cubs of all varieties stay with their mothers through childhood and even remain in the den from birth until spring. By this time, they've developed their senses and are ready to learn the ways of the bear. Mother's patience is surely tested as she teaches her cubs how to forage, swim, and hunt. Most species of bear stay with their mother for at least a year, with some, like the brown bear staying home for about three years before striking off on their own.  

Part of the Furry Friend collection, our cuddly bear cub features a luscious coat, and measures at 7.8 inches tall. It is made with an extra soft, plush polyester exterior, and is stuffed with a rich polypropylene cotton blend. Only use warm water when cleaning your furry bear cub, as too hot or too cold may lead to shrinkage or fading.
