Meet Baby Mouse. He was born in the barn house on a quaint country farm, where he lives with his brothers and sisters. They sometimes tease him over his unusually thick coat, but he doesn't let it get him down. In fact, he's proud and knows it is our differences that make us special. And special he is, as this little mouse is quite an acrobat. Baby Mouse is able to balance on the barn rafters, leap across massive hay bails, and swim further than anyone in his family. His water skills have also caught the attention of Baby Frog, who lives in the pond next door, and they've become good friends, often spending lazy afternoons together swimming and telling stories. 🐭

When mice come to mind, we don't often think of them as swimmers, but they happen to have a real knack for water. Mice paddle 'doggy style', and use their long tails as a kind of rudder to help them along. They can tread water for long periods, and even hold their breath for about 3 minutes, which comes in handy when evading predators. Although they certainly prefer dry land, mice are more than capable swimmers when the situation calls for it.

Our baby mouse, part of the Furry Friend collection, comes with an extra soft and fluffy coat. It measures at 7.8 inches tall, and is made with a plush polyester exterior. And like all the plushies in this collection, it is stuffed with a rich blend of polypropylene cotton for the softness of a feather down pillow. Be sure to only wash your furry friend gently in warm water, as too cold or too hot may cause shrinking or fading.
