This playful hat, perfectly recalling a juicy red apple, is simply to die for; just ask Snow White! The particular kind of apple that this grade-A plush is modeled on, however, wasn't discovered and made popular until the 19th century, so the doomed princess likely munched on a different breed. A farmer in Iowa noticed a crop of red delicious in with his other apples, apropos of nothing, and decided that this crop was special enough to share. It took quite a while, but the now-iconic red delicious picked up so much steam that it's quite possibly the most well-known apple variety out there today. The crimson cap is made from soft polyester, with filling made of polypropylene cotton, for an extra-silky feel. Just be sure this apple doesn't end up in a washing machine. Much like a real apple, this hat's not a fan of the wash and dry cycle - that can cause fading, shrinkage, and warping. A simple hand wash with warm water and mild soap will keep this apple saucy!
