Ankylosaurus used to be self-conscious about her tail and the armored club at the end of it. That is, until she found work as a demolition expert. A Cretaceous construction crew happened to be passing through her town, on their way to begin work on a new dinosaur strip mall, when they noticed her powerful tail. Ankylosaurus jumped at the chance to help the other dinos with the demolition of an old building, using her tail as a wrecking ball. The project was completed in no time, and Ankylosaurus has been sporting a hardhat and vest 👷 ever since. She's proud to have found her passion.

Interestingly, recent ankylosaurus fossil records show healed wounds in their bones consistent with their 'clubbed' tail. While their tails--capable of dealing damage to even a t-rex--could have been used in self defense, this kind of damage in another ankylosaur seems to indicate they engaged in combat with each other. Scientists speculate this may be evidence of sparring and competition, not unlike humans with sports like wrestling or boxing.

The adorable ankylosaurus hand puppet proudly stands at 9.3 inches tall, and is outfitted with an extra plush polyester exterior. Just like her plushie puppet companions, she's filled from head to tail with a lightweight blend of polypropylene cotton down. Be sure to only clean your dino hand puppet gently in warm water, as too cold or too hot may lead to shrinking or fading.
