The genus Argyranthemum, also known as the dill daisies or marguerite daisies, is endemic to Macaronesia, a collection of four volcanic archipelagos off the coast of North Africa and Europe. More particularly, the dill daisies occur on the Canary Islands and Madeira, including the Savage Islands between them. Hybrids of Argyranthemum species are widely used as ornamental plants for flowerbeds and containers 🪴. Shades of white, pink, yellow and purple can be added to any garden with these prolific single or double flowers. Dill daisies prefer full sun without temperature extremes, and they are not freeze-tolerant. Water moderately and prune in early spring for magnificent blooms all summer!
