During his latest outing, Alan the alien had some trouble with his trusty craft, and made a pit stop here on Earth for some repairs. But after spending some time here, the cosmic critter grew to love the ways of our planet and decided to stay. In the mean time, his ship, which he's nicknamed "Cosmo", has been fully repaired and is ready to take to the stars. Originally only called a 'flying saucer', it wasn't until 1953 that the term 'UFO' (or unidentified flying object) became standard use among sightings. The acronym was coined by Captain Edward J. Ruppelt of the U.S. Air Force, who wanted a less sensational term for sightings and hoped to give them some credibility. 'UFO' was first used in documentation throughout the Air Force's Project Blue Book, which is widely known among UFO enthusiasts as the source for all things alien within the U.S. government's records. 

Cosmo, the cuddly craft measures at 17.7 inches, and is built to the highest UFO standards. It features a durable but soft polyester exterior. We've also partnered with our alien friends to craft an ultra light and fluffy blend of polypropylene cotton to use for the interior. This ensures not only an airworthy craft, but an irresistibly squishy one too. Your UFO may be washed gently with warm water only, as too hot or too cold may cause unwanted shrinking or fading.
