Description
Bubbles had a tummy ache. He waddled into bed and, amid the soft rustling of candy wrappers, finally drifted off to sleep. Suddenly, his eyes flew open. He wasn’t in bed anymore-he was… floating?! Somehow, he found himself among the clouds in a brilliant turquoise sky. But these weren’t ordinary clouds. Bubbles breathed in deeply. The clouds were made of spun sugar. He scooped up a pawful and brought it to his mouth. Yep, just like cotton candy! What was this magical place? Suddenly, something tapped against his foot. A little parade of brightly colored gumdrops marched past him.
“Eat me!” they squealed.
“Well, if you insist,” thought Bubbles. He plopped a purple gumdrop into his mouth. Delicious! The cotton candy clouds began to shift, turning a light purple around him. Suddenly, it started to rain. But not raindrops—it was raining sprinkles! Bubbles opened his mouth in delight as hundreds of tiny rainbow-colored sprinkles poured in.
Oof. His tummy ache returned, and he began to feel dizzy. He sat down on a soft cloud. Below him, the gumdrops that had been swarming now scattered in every direction. Something bright blue pushed up through the clouds. Turquoise twirl taffy? Vines of taffy grew at an extraordinary rate, swirling around his paws.
What was going on? Too many snacks, too many treats.
“I wish I were back in my bed,” Bubbles thought as he squeezed his eyes shut. Relief washed over him as his eyes adjusted to the calm darkness of his cave. Bubbles let out a great sigh of relief and cleaned up his candy wrappers.
Turquoise is a blue-green color named after the gemstone of the same name. This stone has been prized for its beauty for thousands of years and has held global significance across many cultures, including the Egyptians, Persians, and Native American tribes. The word turquoise comes from the French language and means “Turkish stone,” as Europeans in the Middle Ages were introduced to the gem through Turkish traders. In color psychology, turquoise is often associated with calmness, clarity, and emotional balance. It blends the serenity of blue with the refreshing energy of green. When crafted into jewelry, turquoise can symbolize protection, healing, and spiritual grounding, depending on cultural traditions. The term turquoise is one of the oldest color names in the English language, dating back to the 16th century, long before many other color names came into use.

Plushies are both stuffed animals and squishy companions. They should be routinely cleaned using a cloth with soap and warm water, and always dried afterwards. Never put plushies into the washing machine unless the label says you can do so.
