Tiny Otter Tot can also control the water that is present, making an escape path while parting the water or riding a wave to safety. She is just the coolest!
There are 13 species of otter. Some are adapted to colder weather, others live in saltwater. Their gestational period varies from 60 to 86 days. The babies, called pups, are able to swim after two months and they will live with their family for up to one year. The parents take good care of their offspring by feeding them, but also by playing with them in the water, which helps the babies develop their muscles and strengthen social bonds between them 🦦.
