The moon's visibility is always changing, dependent on its position from the sun. There are eight main positions, or "phases" of the moon's visibility. Our squishy character is an example of a crescent moon, which happens when the moon is reflecting only a small part of the sun. The phases change like a giant clock, changing with the moon's orbit. They occur in this order, from least to most visible: new, waxing crescent, first quarter, waxing gibbous, full, waning gibbous, last quarter, and waning crescent.
Our merry moon plushie comes in a smaller, couch-friendly sized 19.6 by 17.7 inches. It's carefully made with perfectly plush polyester, and stuffed with polypropylene cotton down for that classic, feather pillow softness. Be sure to only wash your plush pal in warm water; too hot or too cold may cause unwanted shrinking or fading.
