The mighty and long-lived Great White Shark is the obvious inspiration for this design, and for good reason. This particular species has been an apex predator since before the time of the dinosaurs, managing to stay alive by utilizing its superior intellect. Sharks are often thought of as mindless killers, but that couldn't be further from the truth; attacks on humans are actually pretty rare. Great whites boast the ability to detect electrical fields, along with a keen sense of smell. These senses, and its big brain, give it the ability to figure out what's going on around it, and help it communicate with others. 

Sticking your face between a real shark's jaws isn't recommended, but in the case of this hat, we'd say it fits most people just fine.
