For your convenience, we slice all of our jumbo fruits right here at Plushies Store before shipping, which is no small feat, as each orange pulled from our orchard is a foot in diameter. Raising jumbo oranges isn't always easy, but it's a labor of love. Our special, plushie fruit trees grow only cotton-filled squishy oranges which are processed for a number of uses like feeding the plushie critters, fresh squeezed juice for our cuddly characters, and of course, making top notch cushions. 🍊

The orange likely owes some of its popularity to how easy it is to eat, having been conveniently sliced right off the tree. Everyone's favorite citrus grows 'pre-sliced' thanks to an evolutionary trait. Individual segments, also called carpels, grow from flowers with multi-locule ovaries, which divide during development. Having seeds in separate, natural compartments allows for animals to eat a part of an orange without harming the seeds in the other segments. This also helps with germination and seed dispersal; plus it makes eating oranges easier for animals... and us!

It is made with quality materials, such as a plush polyester exterior, and is plum full of a rich, polypropylene cotton blend, adding an extra layer of comfort. This orange slice is easy to care for, only requiring occasional cleaning. When washing your cushion, be sure to only use warm water, as too cold or too hot may cause shrinking or fading.
