Reindeer are well-known for their link to the legend of Santa Claus, but the real animal is just as special! In a rare move for deer species, both the males and females grow antlers. Their hooves also shift with the seasons, adapting to their environments to help them get around. They're also able to see UV light, making it easy for them to see what's going on and find food in low-light environments, or where snowy reflections dominate the landscape. They use these special qualities to migrate some 3,000 miles annually, and they do it all on a diet that centers around mossy lichen that grow on rocks and trees. Many are familiar with the legend of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, a Christmas tale written in 1939 and turned into a hit holiday song in 1949. While real reindeer lack glowing noses, their snouts do have a slight red tinge due to a large amount of blood vessels that help the vital organ to stay warm and functional in cold climates. 

These slippers are available in sizes running roughly equivalent to US women's sizes 5.5 to 11.5. They come in two colorways, the classic red and the more offbeat green nose and hat. Most of the shoe is made of cotton, making it tough, soft, and easy to clean. The insole is made of a specially treated polyester, and the outsole is made of thermoplastic rubber. Take care when cleaning these slippers, as running them through a typical machine wash and dry cycle can result in problems like cracking, shrinking, warping, and fading.
