The pomegranate has a rich history steeped in Greek mythology. Credited with the creation of winter, pomegranate seeds were the downfall of Greek goddess Persephone, who was tricked into a contract with Hades by eating them. The contract forced her to stay with Hades, and Demeter, god of the harvest, lamented her absence by stopping crops from growing. But Zeus negotiated with Hades, allowing Persephone to stay with Hades six months out of every year, thus giving us the winter season.
Our perky pomegranate cushions measure at 15.2 inches, and feature a soft polyester exterior. And it's filled with a special blend of polypropylene cotton for the fluffiness of a cloud.
