These unique, cuddly fruits (yes, a pepper is a fruit… go figure!) are soft to the touch, and guaranteed to keep all year. Chile pepper seeds are generally thought to be its spiciest part, but this is a common misconception. In fact, it's the spicy center — where the seeds connect to the membrane — that holds the most heat. Also known as the pith, this white hot area contains the most  capsaicin, which is what makes peppers spicy. Think of it as a lava-filled, molten core, like a delicious planet.

Our spicy squishy is a succulent, 4 and a half inches long, and is made with a plush wool stuffed with our classic lightweight polypropylene cotton blend. Unlike their edible cousins, our plush peppers are best stored out of direct sunlight to avoid fading, and may be cleaned with gentle vacuuming or lint rolling.
