Let's give a warm welcome to Peggy, the Pink Astronaut. This adolescent astronaut has just made history as the youngest girl to see Earth from the vast vacuum of space. She's had an incredible adventure, having seen the sunset in a way that few people ever have. She's even set her plush boots on the moon, and explored the Sea of Tranquility, climbed the lunar highlands, and taken in the awe of the Maria Plains. But all adventures must come to an end, and Peggy is ready to rest and stretch out on the sofa with you. And as you can imagine, her favorite genre is sci-fi. 🚀

Did you know that due to the absence of gravity, astronauts actually grow taller while in space? Although they don't gain extreme levels of height, spinal discs expand and contract, which causes their spine to lengthen slightly. An astronaut usually gains about 3% in height while in orbit, meaning someone who is 6 feet tall gains about 2 inches. However, this height increase is temporary, and after returning home, the spine compresses again. But the process is gradual, so astronauts who've come back to Earth can enjoy a little extra height for a few months.

This plushie pink astronaut stands at 19.6 inches tall, and sports a suit strong enough to withstand the vacuum of space while still being soft enough for cuddles. Her suit is made with a high tech blend of polyester for a plush and cozy exterior, and is stuffed with a comfortable and lightweight polypropylene cotton. This little astronaut is machine washable on the gentle cycle, and is best cleaned with warm water, as too cold or too hot may lead to shrinkage or fading.
