In the wild, pineapples are usually pollinated by hummingbirds through the day, and by bats at night. But farmers, understanding that pineapple seeds can negatively affect taste, tend to pollinate the plants themselves by hand, if at all. Keeping seeds out of pineapples, at least the ones we eat, is so important that in early twentieth century Hawaii, hummingbirds weren't allowed to be brought in the region, as they could pollinate and create seeded pineapples.

Your new pineapple cushion will measure in at 15.2 inches, and is lovingly made with a soft polyester exterior. It's also stuffed with a special, polypropylene cotton down blend for extra coziness. Be sure to only wash your pineapple plush gently in warm water, as to cold or too hot could lead to unwanted fading or shrinking.
