Say hello to Petey the Parasaurolophus. He wants to be a singer when he grows up, and his friends and family seem to think he's got the pipes for it. Like his fellow species, Petey has special vocal and nasal passages, making them natural born singers. But even at an early age, this little Parasaurolophus shows extra promise, so his parents signed him for the annual Cretaceous Talent Competition. Petey was a little nervous at first, but he sang his heart out, and after winning the hearts of the judges, took home first prize. 🏆
Did you know these dinosaurs went through puberty? Well, sort of. Scientists have discovered hen the inner ear and crest fossils of the Parasaurolophus were compared between juveniles and adults, it was discovered that the younger of the species were designed to emit and hear higher frequency vocals. Once they reach adulthood, the Parasaurolophus' voice deepens just like humans!
Petey measures at 9.3 inches, and features soft plush polyester filled with a feather-light blend of polypropylene cotton down. Although he may look ferocious with his pointy teeth and claws, this dinosaur is a big softie, and may be cleaned gently in warm water or with lint rolling. Be sure to store your dino hand puppet out of direct sunlight to avoid fading.
