And no two fruits are closer than the peach and its smooth skinned cousin, nectarine. 🍑 Actually, they're more like fraternal twins than cousins, thanks to their near identical genes. Nectarine has its loyal fans, especially when the fruit family volleyball tournament breaks out. Although competitive, nectarine is a sweet sport, never letting anything come between the inseparable duo.
Nectarines are not shy about letting farmers now when they're ripe. As they become ready to eat, they gradually change their color from green to a rich gold. Additionally, they release a rich, perfume-like scent, as sweet and mouthwatering as the fruit itself. There's no mistaking when a nectarine is ripe, which makes the wait all the more exciting!
Our nectarine plushies measure at a plump 15.2 inches, and are made from a super soft, polyester exterior. We also fill our fruits with a special blend of polypropylene cotton to make them as soft as a feather down pillow. Just be sure to only wash your nectarine gently in warm water, as too cold or too hot may cause it to shrink or fade.
