Lenny Lime 🍋 has his bags packed, his passport approved, and is ready to fly from Brazil to the U.S. to see his friends at the fuzzy garden. As part of a surprise, he has even bought an extra plane ticket for his pineapple pal, who keeps in touch with the other fruits and veggies with her letters. Despite being a lime, Lenny is quite sweet, without a trace of bitterness, and the other tropical fruits will be the first to tell you he's one of the most generous fellows around. And with a thick, fuzzy coat, Lenny Lime is also fond of hugs and cuddles, which he's looking to sharing with his friends at the fuzzy garden. 

Did you know that limes are one of the few fruits grown with 'true-to-seed' propagation? This means that lime seeds are genetically identical to each other, making the tree grown from one seed as high in quality as the one it came from thanks to self-pollination. Quite different from cross-pollinated plants like apple trees, whose seeds have a random mix of genes that result in less reliable results, lime trees are among a group of plants that don't need our help to make consistently delicious fruits. This also makes growing lime trees at home fun and easy. 

This lovely lime measures at 5.9 inches, and features a soft and cuddly layer of fuzziness made from plush polyester. And for even more cuddle-ability, he is stuffed with a bouncy blend of polypropylene cotton down, as soft as a cloud. Unlike edible limes, this little guy prefers to be kept away from direct sunlight to preserve his color, and likes to be cleaned with gentle vacuuming or lint rolling.
