Not everyone likes durians, but those that do know a good one when they see it. This unusual, fuzzy species of durian is hitting the market in style thanks to its extra soft coat. Unlike it's spiky, porcupine 🦔 styled cousins, which mostly grow in Southeast Asia, our cuddly durians are born and raised right here on Plushie Store Farms. This means they are delivered sooner so you don't have to wait to enjoy their sweet, squishy goodness. While ours are not edible, we can guarantee no refrigeration is required, and they last all season, meaning you can enjoy the company of this complex fruit year 'round. 

The durian is a fascinating fruit, with 30 varieties in its family. Although most of them are inedible, those that are deliver a unique experience. In Thailand, the Mon Thong, or Golden Pillow is their durian of choice. It's considered the most 'accessible' variety, with a sweeter flavor and milder smell compared with most other durians. In fact, about 9 types of durian are even considered edible, depending on your preferences and tolerance for strong odors, but most of these are considered an acquired taste. It certainly isn't for everyone, but the "King of Fruits" has its fans.

The delightful durian plushie comes to your door at 6.4 inches, and sports a cozy coat made with soft polyester. We know it's what's on the inside that counts, so this plushie is filled with an ultra light, polypropylene cotton down, as soft as a cloud. Your fuzzy fruit friend only needs companionship to thrive, but can be cleaned gently with warm water only; as too hot or too cold may cause unwanted shrinking or fading.
