Greetings from Banana. She's just in from her jungle home, and is looking for a place to cool her thick coat. The fuzzy garden looks like the perfect vacation spot, filled with all sorts of fuzzy fruits and veggies, all just waiting to make a new friend. She has especially hit it off with Mango, who coincidentally comes from the same part of the Asian wilderness as her. While Banana appreciates the cooler air of the country garden, she does miss all the trees, so Mango shows her the nearby forest, where she can climb and swing to her heart's content. Now, she's thinking of making this her permanent home. 🍌

Nothing goes together like monkeys and bananas, but in the wild, primates rarely eat them. Bananas grown for supermarkets are generally sweeter and seedless, quite different from those found in the wild. Although us humans enjoy giving monkeys bananas as an occasional treat, their high sugar content makes them unhealthy in large quantities. Some zoos have even banned bananas as part of the monkey's diet. In reality, they eat leaves, figs, nuts, and certain insects. But that's okay with us humans, as that just means more bananas for us!

Our plushie banana buddy features an extra cozy coat of fluff, which is made with a soft polyester blend, and is filled with a lightweight polypropylene cotton blend. She measures at 7 inches, bigger than the average banana, which means there's much more to love. While she doesn't need much care, banana does prefer to be kept out of direct sunlight to preserve her yellow coat, and she may be cleaned with lint rolling or gentle vacuuming.
