Named after the Russian, 🇷🇺 Saiga antelope,  this shotgun was designed to resemble the Kalashnikov assault rifle. And like the rifles, the Saiga-12K employs a distinct, lever safety on the right side of the receiver. The design is also known for alternating between a semi, and fully-automatic function when converted either way. As the name suggests, the Saiga-12K is compatible with 12-gauge shells, but 20-gauge, and .410 bore versions are also available.

Its compact design is perhaps is greatest weakness, as the Saiga-12k has a very limited range. The shorter barreled versions lose accuracy past 40 meters. However, choke attachments and longer barrels are available, which help to compensate for its lack of range. With a longer barrel, the Saiga maintains about 60% of its accuracy at 40 meters.

The plushie Saiga-12K toy measures 31.8 inches long. It is made with a soft, plush polyester exterior and is filled with a special blend of polypropylene cotton for an extra touch of feather pillow softness. Just be sure to only wash your novelty plush gently in warm water, as too cold or too hot may lead to fading or shrinkage.
