Meet Chick, the pluckiest of the Furry Friends gang. From the day she first popped out of the egg, her parents knew she was going to be special. Initially worried she would be picked on for her unusual, thick fur, they were relieved to find Chick wore her coat with courage. She may be a chick, but she's no chicken, and stands up to bullies with confidence. Over time, she's earned respect from the other animals who once teased her furry appearance, and they've even become friends. If anyone knows the importance of self-esteem and friendship, it's Chick the Furry Friend! 🐣

You may not know it to look at them, but chickens are surprisingly smart. In fact, research shows that they have strong cognitive abilities, including communication among their flock, social intelligence, and even problem solving skills. What's most interesting is they even have a grasp of arithmetic, and are able to count and recall numbers of objects. These feathery scholars have been discovered to count from left to right, and organize smaller numbers on the left. While they may not be solving complex equations anytime soon, they have certainly shown themselves to be smarter than credited. 

This chipper little chick is a member of our Furry Friends Collection, and sports a cuddly coat. It measures at 7.8 inches, and is carefully made with a soft polyester exterior. As with all our plushies, this chick is filled to its wings with a rich blend of polypropylene cotton, as soft as a cloud. When cleaning your furry friend, only use warm water, as too cold or too hot may cause unwanted shrinkage or fading.
