This lovely home, recently renovated by gingerbread men contractors, has all the cozy amenities a pastry homeowner could ask for. Some updates include milk chocolate 🍫 countertops, freshly iced graham cracker floors, and comfy gumdrop furniture. Priced to move, this gingerbread house is ready to be made into a gingerbread home.
Believe it or not, early gingerbread contained no ginger! Fifteenth century, English recipes instead called for bread crumbs mixed with boiled honey, which formed into a moldable paste. Saffron and pepper were added for seasoning, and once it was cooked, cinnamon would be sprinkled on top. It was common to color gingerbread red by using the ground bark of the red sandalwood tree, also known as 'sanders'.
This plush house comes to your door measuring at 15.1 inches. It is constructed with the finest polyester exterior, and is filled to the chimney with an extra soft blend of polypropylene cotton, just like a feather down pillow. Be sure to only wash your gingerbread house gently in warm water, as too cold or too hot may cause unwanted shrinking or fading.
