Our computers at Plushies Store headquarters are showing a drop in fuel in our new cartoon rocket ship. With its fuel rapidly depleting, the rocket will have no choice but to make an emergency landing... on your sofa or bed! Your mission will be to make sure this squishy ship is ready to take flight once more. As with all Plushies Store space craft, this rocket doesn't run on traditional fuel, instead it runs on cuddles, and being in orbit without them has unfortunately caused the tanks to run dry. Not too worry though, as it shouldn't take long to refuel. And once it does, feel free to keep the rocket for yourself, and let it join you on your own adventures. Just be sure to give it a little hug every once in a while to keep it ready for blast off. 🚀

Rockets as we know them, have a surprisingly long and rich history. Dating all the way back to 13th Century China, where gunpowder began to be used in projectiles called "fire arrows". They used the escaping gases of the explosion to launch the projectiles in one of the first examples of propulsion. But in the 14th Century, the Song Dynasty further evolved rocket technology with the Huolongchushui, or fire dragon from water, which made use of multi-stage propulsion thanks to external bamboo tubes that acted as secondary propulsion systems. This incredible technology, used by the Chinese Navy, was one of the first stepping stones to modern rockets.
