Little Blubber the Seal loves stories! He likes to read them out loud, he likes to listen to someone read them to him, he likes to act out the scenes. Storytime 🏰 allows children to project themselves into other lives, to experience emotions they may or may not have experienced already, and to learn many life lessons. And Blubber will be there to learn those lessons with them.

Seals have the unfortunate title of favorite food for many other animals, including killer whales, polar bears and sharks 🦈. Their anatomy makes them excellent swimmers, but it also makes it difficult for locomotion on land as they cannot lift themselves up on four limbs like their cousins the sea lions. A group of seals has many names (herd, colony, harem, pod, rookery), but by far the funniest one is a bob of seals. The word may stem from seals’ heads bobbing up and down as they float up to the surface to catch a breath and look around.

Storytime Sidekicks is a stunning collection of more than 20 animal puppets designed to help you create a connection with your child.
