After a long day of learning about ice fishing, Baby Penguin likes to cut loose with his favorite pastime: belly sledding. Also known as tobogganing, this recreational sport has been passed down through generations, and now it's Baby Penguin's turn to take up the mantle. He started small, only taking on a beginner's, green circle slope. But in no time he was ready and eager to take on the more difficult courses. Baby Penguin just can't get enough, and with his unique furry coat, he's able to hit the slopes longer than anyone. Don't be surprised to see this little bird taking on the Olympics one day! 🐧 

Penguins are perfectly designed to thrive in cold climates. Equipped with thick, insulating feathers, these aquatic birds can stay warm and comfortable in the coldest of waters. They also have a unique system of blood vessels in their flippers, which warm the blood before it returns to the rest of their body. These natural heat pumps allow penguins to focus on what matters most, fishing and belly-sledding!

This peppy little penguin measures at 7.8 inches tall, and as part of our Furry Friend collection, features an extra soft, furry coat. It is made with a plush polyester exterior, and filled to the feathers with a fluffy, polypropylene cotton blend, making it a perfect cuddle buddy. Be sure to only clean your penguin gently in warm water, as too cold or too hot may cause shrinking or fading.
